Road Trip to Texas and New Mexico

A few months ago, my family took a road trip out west during spring break.

I lived in Canyon and Amarillo, Texas, for six years before moving back to Alabama, so it was a great opportunity to introduce my wife and step-kids to friends and colleagues in the Texas Panhandle. We then continued on to Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico.

There are just a few pics here, but I’ll share them anyway. The photographs are from Palo Duro Canyon State Park, the second largest canyon in the United States; Cadillac Ranch, a quirky art installation where you can bring your own spray paint and tag the cars; Old Town in Albuquerque; and some wall art in Santa Fe.
