On the day the West Texas A&M Study Abroad group left London and traveled home, I packed my bags and took a train to Oxford. I had no solid plans. All I wanted to do was wander around the city and discover interesting things.
As I was crossing the River Cherwell via Magdalen Bridge, I noticed a bunch of punts off to my left.
That looked like a lot of fun, but something else on the other side of the river caught my eye: the University of Oxford’s Botanic Garden.
When traveling through Europe (or anywhere, for that matter), I’m still fascinated to see schools and universities that are centuries older than my own country.
