Seven Towns in Czech Republic

I really must apologize for the jumbled mess that is this post.

Usually, I provide specific information related to the photos you see here: where they were taken, the circumstances, etc. That’s not the case for this entry. I can’t pinpoint specific locations for some of these photos with total certainty.

However, I can tell you that I spent a few days in the spring of 2008 exploring the following places, in this order: Štramberk, Ostrava, Hodonín, Lednice, Vrbice, Mikulov, and Valtice. I’ll share the photos in that order, too.

These cities/towns are located in the eastern half of Czech Republic. It is gorgeous country, and as you’ll see in some of the photos, wine making is a treasured livelihood and pastime.

Bonus Photo!

Because I was on a professional trip at the time, I was able to explore a local radio station (I used to be a radio journalist). They even let me do a little work!

At least this was 2008. Sometimes I can’t even remember the names of places I visited just a couple weeks after I have left them, haha. Though, in the moment, I always convince myself there is no way I’ll forget the names to match to my pictures.

  2. Nice photos, I have only been to Ostrava, Lednice, Mikulov and Valtice of these. But there is just too many nice towns in hte Czech Republic. 🙂
