I spent a month during April-May 2008 getting a wonderful tour of the Czech and Slovak Republics as part of the now defunct Rotary International Group Study Exchange program. Most of the photographs I took during that trip have been languishing in digital prison. No more.
I’m starting to post photographs from various stops throughout that month-long visit, and to speed up the process just a bit, I’ll provide a quick note about where the photos were taken. For travelers who recognize places they’ve seen, I hope the photos bring back some great memories. For those who haven’t visited these areas yet, I hope the photos inspire you to make some plans.
All of this post’s photos were taken in a beautiful area of the Czech Republic called Český Ráj (pronounced CHESS-kee RYE).
The next set of photos is from Dlask Farm.
This last set of photographs was taken at the ruins of Trosky Castle. It’s quite a hike up to the top, but the views are fantastic.
