If you’re passing through this area on I-40, this is a good spot to get out and stretch your legs. I don’t recommend, though, that you build your vacation to Amarillo around this attraction. Drop by, take some photos, spray some paint, and then live the rest of your life with the experience that is the Cadillac Ranch.
Now that I’m a resident of the Texas Panhandle, I guess it was almost a requirement that I should spend a few moments at Cadillac Ranch. You know, 10 Cadillacs that are standing upright, buried up to their front windshields, and used as a canvas for various colors of spray paint. Is it art or junk? I’ll let you decide for yourself.
